can there ever be too much love?

not in this family!

not in this family!
one of the things i love…
about photographing tots just over the one year mark is their new sense of exploration. they approach whatever they are doing with boundless enthusiasm. this little peach was all about that…

i am in love with the beautiful colors we caught on this fall afternoon at Church Square in Hoboken

well, shooting, of course…but i’ve been bad about updating the blog. so here we go, time to fix that!
The excited big brother

the fresh new baby sister

is it an album, is it a box? whatever you want to call it, just call it fabulous!
this new product is a great option for parents who want tons of images from their session, but just don’t have the space to show them all off. This image box comes with a custom designed canvas covered box, 15 matted images inside, and a 10 inch display easel. We can choose colors to match your living room decor or your child’s nursery. What’s great about it is that you can change the image you put out on the easel as you please. If you get tired of one image (okay, I know you never will), simply choose another to display. You can even send one off with Dad or take one to your office to have on your desk for a little while.

…when your kids are this beautiful!
This lucky family won a prize that I donated to a fundraiser put on by the Sundance School in North Plainfield, NJ last spring.

…i recently had the opportunity to photograph the sweetest and most mature brother and sister at their home. Mom called me after seeing some of my images in the Westfield Fast Frame and commissioned me to make portraits of her kids young adults. Not only are they both beautiful and handsome–they are also friendly, kind and loving.
Mom really wants black and white images, so nearly all of the images from the session have been processed this way. I threw in a couple of images where the color was just too amazing to pass up. Plus, check out their beautiful eyes.

PS. Here’s a picture of some of my images in Michael’s frame shop. I took this in the early spring when he first started showing my images, but I never had a chance to post this. It’s kind of hard to see the frames because of the glare on the front window, but if you’re ever in Westfield, take a peek in his shop, he has an incredible range of frames, and you’ll get to see some of my recent work there. The best thing about Michael is that he gives me discount cards to pass on to all of my clients : )

here she is…

newness…

the “not so sure about this” big brother…

…who will one day soon become her biggest protector…

i still love to watch my own children sleep…

and the beautiful family…

congratulations!
I know, I know, I hate walking into the mall in August and seeing fake snow on pine trees too!
…but now is the time to plan your session if you’re hoping to give the gift of custom photographs and hoping to W*O*W your family and friends with the most unique holiday cards featuring images of your family. Remember…sessions are scheduled 4 to 6 weeks in advance (and there are only a handful of dates remaining for October) and each card is custom designed with your input.
Here are some of my favorite cards from last year~

2008 Holiday Deadlines
November 16: last date for sessions
November 30: last date to order prints and custom cards*
*Orders received after this date and required for the holidays will be subject to a 40% rush surcharge
a little over a year ago, I photographed the most beautiful two year old boy (you can see him running across a bridge above). I was lucky enough to be invited back to photograph him as a three year old along with his new baby sister.
I loved so many images from this session…this is going to be a long post!

every year I give a way a few sessions as fund raisers for to local groups. This family won a session and framed 11×14 print at the auction to benefit the Westfield YMCA Preschool. I couldn’t have hoped for a more beautiful family to win.

Congratulations again, and I’ll see you soon to help you choose your frame!
